Laura was a great host! We had some troubles with our first reservation and she helped us check in late that evening. The condo is in a great location right across from a private beach and had anything you could possibly want in the kitchen. We will definitely stay there again!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. We received check-in information prior to our trip and everything went smoothly for us. The condo was spacious and clean (beautiful decor) and had everything we needed. We had our morning coffee on the patio everyday and enjoyed the view of the ocean and the calm breezes. We were blessed with a rainbow view one morning :) We will definitely want to visit this property again in the future!

We have rented from Renee and Laura Clayton every year for almost 20 years and we have never been disappointed. All of the units that we have stayed in have been well decorated and clean. I find them easy to work with and we will continue to book through them for the foreseeable future.

Great location, great stay.
Everything was great. Check in went smoothly. The beach set up is nice. All the other dog owners were very respectful. While inside the condo, you rarely heard anything from the adjacent units. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Check out was very simple. Clean out the refrigerator and start the dishwasher and you’re pretty much done! The only recommendation I would have is that they improve the knives in the kitchen, the only large chef knife could hardly cut an onion. If you plan to cook meals while you are there, you may want to bring your own knives.

There were 5 senior adults and one small dog in our party. The age range was 65 to 78. We were very pleased with our accommodations. It was very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. TVs had plenty of channels and free movies to watch. There were games and cards for you to play. And there were books for you to read. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. A/C was cold. Dog walk was convenient and had poopy bags for you to use. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the people on the beach as well as the walkers and runners on the sidewalk. Also, the cars and golf carts on the road were interesting to see. We saw dolphins in the water and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend #202 to everyone! We will be back!

I love staying at Beach Retreat. I’ve stayed here several times. The condo’s I pick have great sectional couches. Everyone likes to sprawl out. ;) comfortable beds and curtains that darken the room to sleep late. This year we were in 202. 3 bedroom, 2 baths. Lovely stay! (VRBO Review)

We had a very enjoyable two weeks at Beach Retreat 202. Super nice well equipped condo in a fantastic location with easy access to the beach, a balcony with a great view of the ocean, nice walking trail/sidewalk for people and pets, secure parking, several excellent seafood restaurants nearby. Property manager was very friendly and helpful.

Beach retreat 202 is such an amazing property! It is located just steps from the beach and has the best view of the Gulf that you can enjoy right from your private balcony. The property is very clean, beautifully decorated, and very spacious. It came equipped with pretty much everything we needed. After staying here, I think we’ve found our favorite place to stay while vacationing in Miramar/Destin area. My family and I had the absolute hands down best time staying here. No complaints whatsoever! The property was perfect!! We didn’t want to leave, but will most definitely be back. You seriously can’t go wrong staying here. Thank you all for providing such a beautiful place for my family and I to rent. :)

This was a pet friendly property that was gated, had a heated pool & hot tub during the winter, and catered to families with pets. The unit was very nicely appointed and had a wonderful view of the beach. Scenic Gulf Drive wasn’t a distraction for us and you couldn’t hear the traffic with the doors closed. The gulf view made up for it!

This unit was a great choice for our first official time in Destin/Miramar Beach. We needed a pet friendly condo to accomodate our two cocker-spaniels and this was perfect. The location was amazing and a closer walk to the beach than staying in a high rise. The unit was very well-stocked - truly with everything you needed and more. The unit was nicely decorated and clean. We loved the pool area and also having the dog walk area on site was so convenient. In fact, CONVENIENT and EASY are the best words to describe our stay. The communications with Renee/Laura were quick and informative. Thank you for a great experience - we will be back to Miramar Beach and stay here again and again!

My adult family of 5 stayed at the property and were satisfied. The unit was clean and spacious. The view of the gulf was great. The location was within walking distance of several great restaurants that we ate at. There was plenty of grass to walk our small dog along the wide sidewalk along the beach street where a lot of people walked, rode bikes, roller boarded, jogged, etc. The street traffic was not that bad. It is 25mph with crosswalks about every 100 yards that also slowed traffic. I only have 1 negative comment regarding the seating comfort. The furniture and decor was beautiful and “beachy”, but was not good for my bad back. However, the master bed was great with the pillow top. The beach service was great! Chairs were out at 7am just after sunrise. The unit also provided additional beach chairs and other items for use. The Kitchen was adequately equipped and refrigerator/freezer and ice maker worked perfectly. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away!

I have stayed at Beach Retreat, Maravilla and Leeward Key several times now and this unit Beach Retreat 202 is hands down my new favorite. I like the left side of beach Retreat so much better, the view is awesome and so easy in and out, plus the condo is so nice inside. Happy Camper

We started planning this trip over a year ago. My daughter/husband/children joined us from Michigan while we drove up from Citrus County. We were impressed from the moment we opened the door to the condo. Roomy, tastefully decorated, all of the conveniences you would need for a stay of several days. Then, the view!! Beautiful, just simply beautiful.
It seems as if all of the folks in Miramar have been properly trained in yielding to pedestrians. If you have small children, as we did, it is a relief to know you can cross the street without worrying. Of course, you still need to look.
All of our communications with the owner were excellent. She is prompt, thorough, always courteous with a splash of graciousness.
There are plenty of seafood restaurants within walking distance or short drive if you prefer. Each has its own specialty that is delectable.
I could go on but do not want to bore you. Bottom line, we will return at some time in the future as well as recommend it to family and friends. Enjoy!

We lived our stay. Condo is very nice. Better than the pictures. The best part is to be able to see the gulf while cooking meals. So peaceful!!! I can't wait to go back!!

Beautiful condo with amazing views! We had everything we needed for a week of fun in the sun at Beach Retreat! Our last 2 days were rainy but sitting on the porch watching the rain & storm out on the gulf was beautiful. The kids enjoyed playing board games inside! Our original plan had been to bring our little doggie but as it turned out, we left him at home with extended family although had he come, it would've been great as the area is very pet friendly~
We all enjoyed the beach and pool! Kenny D's down the street has amazing food! We also hit the gulf one day for a fishing adventure aboard The Destination with Captain Stan Phillips!! We caught a bunch of King Mackerel--what a day!! We rented some of the motor scooters to tool up and down Scenic 98~overall the week gets an A+!!!
